ERP software for textile and apparel manufacturing

Bring the material, cost and finance records of your textile and garment production onto one platform, from fabric purchasing and cutting and sewing to subcontracted work and export shipments.

Season calendars, buyer orders and cost pressure

In textiles and apparel, work starts with a buyer order and a season calendar. A single style needs many materials such as fabric, lining, buttons, zippers and labels, and when the dye lot changes you need to know which roll an order was cut from. Part of the sewing, printing or washing goes to subcontractors, buyers pay in foreign currency, and profit per order only shows once every cost is collected.

In Factorbooks Autonomous ERP, each style gets a production recipe, work orders record material consumption and finished goods receipt, and fabric rolls are tracked by lot number. Subcontractor invoices are posted as expenses through Services Received, and export files run in Foreign Trade Management. A size and color matrix and cut planning are not offered as separate features; size and color variants can be defined as separate material cards.

Benefits for textile and garment manufacturers

  • Cost by style

Post fabric and trim consumption from work order movements to cost with the style recipe and Production Costing.

  • Roll and batch tracking

  • Recorded subcontracting costs

Subcontractor invoices are posted as expenses through Services Received and matched to the subcontractor's account.

  • Export files

Export orders, letters of credit, shipments, expenses and invoices are tracked together by file.

  • Foreign currency sales

Record foreign currency buyer orders and the resulting differences with proforma invoices and exchange rate difference invoices.

  • Online sales channel

B2C e-Commerce Management and Marketplace Integration are available as add-on modules; online orders and their invoices are tracked on the same platform.
