ERP software for wholesalers and distributors

Manage customer-specific prices for dealers and corporate buyers, the flow from order to shipment, sales on credit terms and receivables risk on the same current account record.

Credit terms, high volume, thin margins

In wholesale, most sales are made on credit terms and margins stay thin. Every dealer has its own price list, discount terms and payment due date, and collections by cheque and promissory note as well as late payment charges need separate tracking. When ordering, shipping and invoicing run in different teams, short-shipped orders and overdue receivables are noticed too late.

In Factorbooks Autonomous ERP the sales order, shipment order, outgoing e-waybill and sales invoice move along one record chain. Customer-specific prices and discount approvals keep sales terms under central control. Customer cheques and promissory notes and cheques sent for collection are tracked in Advanced Finance Management, and Risk Management shows all customer receivables by customer and by product.

What it brings to wholesalers and distributors

  • Dealer-specific terms

Each dealer's sales terms are defined separately with customer-specific prices, seasonal pricing and customer/product discounts (SYNTRA and higher).

  • Approved discounts

Discounts outside the price list go through the Discount Approvals step, so the terms given in the field stay on record.

  • One flow from order to dispatch

Shipment planning and shipment orders organize warehouse dispatch, and the outgoing e-waybill and sales invoice are linked to the same order.

  • Due dates, cheques and notes

Customer cheques and promissory notes, payroll lists and cheques sent for collection are matched with current accounts; late payment invoices are issued for overdue payments.

  • Visible receivables risk

All customer receivables and receivables by product are tracked in Risk Management; ABM packages add risk monitoring and close follow-up stages.

  • Cash planning

See the cash effect of collections and payments on credit terms in advance with the Cash Flow Forecast.
