ERP software for information technology services

Manage subscription and license revenue, support requests, implementation projects and serialized hardware on the same customer record, and recognize recurring revenue in the right period.

Recurring revenue, projects and support on one set of data

IT service firms earn revenue from three sources: monthly or annual subscriptions, implementation and integration projects, and hardware and license sales. A license fee collected a year in advance has to be spread across months, the exchange rate effect of cloud and software costs bought in foreign currency has to be tracked, and the support levels promised in contracts have to be followed separately.

Factorbooks Autonomous ERP keeps subscriptions in Subscription Management, support and service requests in CRM, projects in Project Management and devices in inventory by serial or lot number. Fees collected in advance are recorded as deferred revenue. Billing data from your subscription platform can be transferred through the API in Integration Management.

What it brings to IT service firms

  • Subscription visibility

The subscription list and subscription account statement show each customer's active services and balance on one screen.

  • Revenue in the right period

License and maintenance fees collected annually in advance are recorded as deferred revenue and spread across periods with accruals.

  • Support and SLA tracking

Support requests are linked to the customer card in SYNTRA and above; in the ABM packages, SLA Management tracks service levels.

  • Project profitability

Budget, purchases and costs of installation and integration projects are compared on the project card in VECTRA and the ABM packages.

  • Foreign currency cost control

Cloud, license and hardware purchases are recorded at Central Bank rates, and exchange rate valuation is run at period end.

  • Data protection compliance

Firms that process customer data keep their personal data inventory, data subject requests and VERBIS reports in GDPR / KVKK Management.
